Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Darling,

I know I am among The Chosen Ones.

I am not part of the generic, ordinary bunch. Na-ah.

I don't need to tell the world that I am a Chosen One, though.

When I do that, I am degrading myself, down to the lowest level.

Plus, Darling, I do write in grammatically correct English.

Ah, be careful with the mirror, Darling. Because once it speaks a name other than yours, you might want to stuff the poisoned apple into the Named One's mouth.

I do too.
Write in grammatically correct English. Not only grammatically, emotionally, diplomatically, politically, and first and foremost, psychologically correct one.
Ahem

Albeit not being The Chosen One.

LOLOLOLOL.

Huehehehhe.. some people must be reminded that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, not of the beheld :D.

Mbak Ellen, your posting reminds me of Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou. Why don't you check it out?

And I so totally agree, A true beautiful person (inside out) does not need to scream and proclaim her beauty to the world...it is degrading.

By the way, if you guys outthere need some poisoned apples..you can contact me..heheheheh...it's my sidejob to bring out the inner evil in you.

( I call it a ministry for nervous-wreck ladies a.k.a desperate-not so pretty-but-very-evil-women..)

Pardon my english though, blame it on my Old SMP English teacher.

hehehe.... so agree.....
not only degrading ... it's also a sign of insecurity :))

i always think that when a pastor/preacher shouts so loud in his sermon it means he/she is in doubt
and needs to convince him/herself :)

To yang punya: May I please use this box to send some message to errr .. our two dear friends?

Melly, it's not solely about the grammatically incorrect English, Dear .. which is absolutely fine and nothing so worrying about. But it's more the combination of it with something else that bothers and rather fatal.

And Nana, I thought it is going to be ON the twenty something of January?
ON, this time.

Gracie: I haven't, but I will. And your English is fine, admittedly much better than mine ;). Though I have to remind you that this comment space isn't supposed to serve as an ad column (this is related to your poisoned apples marketing, hehehe..). I thought you said you're going to activate your comsys?

Mer: Hi Mer!! I fully agree with you -- including on the loud preaching thing. I will always prefer a logical, simple explanation. I believe Jesus himself didn't see the need to roar most of the time (in fact, most of the Biblical scriptures refer to him as being soft spoken, if I'm not mistaken. He must've mastered public speaking and vocal techniques).

Melly: There are times when I want to change the mirrors in my house too, Mel :D. But the point isn't particularly on the improper English. I really couldn't care less -- after all, English is not our native language. Improper English is the icing for, you guessed, improper attitude. My words in this post are quite blunt, readers need not look between the lines.

Eda Nana and Ms. Silver: Ladies, c'mon, this isn't ILP or EF! *chuckles* You only worsen things up, kekekkekk...

hehehehhe..please forgive me for my poisoned apples marketing. I will try it by Telepathy power next time instead of "Iklan terselubung di blog orang" hahahahah...

Oh iya, I forgot to activate that comsys!!! Heheheh..promise I will do it today mbak Lenje.

By the way, for those preachers who like to preach so loud..sometimes they just looove to hear themselves, right? And usually they have weird hairdo also. have you girls ever notice it? or is it just me? heheheheh

Gracie: Honey, hair is just one thing. They are also quite fashionable, starting from new hairstyle, then clothings, then gadgets... we can go on and on and on. And here, they also have interesting names.. like Reverend Dollar, for instance. (I didn't make up the name, you can check yourself).

NdoroKakung: Tsk. Playing god is THAT addictive, yessir?

Melly: I didn't know you're missing me that much, kekekkekek.. In just a few weeks, dek. BAKOEL KOFFIE FTW!

Silverlines: Let's just save the imagination for more important things, sweets :))).
